Lee Jin formerly of girl group, Fin.K.L took her first stab at acting in a saeguk drama and gave a steady performance in the recently shown episode 13 of SBS drama , The King and I.

Lee Jin was a member of the four-member girl group Fin.K.L which debuted in 1998. Since they disbanded, she has ventured into acting and was part of MBC idol drama, Non-Stop 3 and got rave reviews from many viewers. Lee Jin after a long hiatus since her days in SBS variety show, Xman finally made her comeback in the recently shown episode 13 of the King and I on 8th October and entered as Yoon Jung Hyun who would later become Queen Jung Hyun to the viewers.

Even though she appeared for only a short while, the reviews of her performance by many was that she was steady in delivering a long line, and that was a small steady step. Many also expressed, “Her long-awaited comeback is really refreshing, hope she can show even better acting in the coming episodes.”

Lee Jin’s character, Yoon Jung Hyun is a efficient and arrogant person and would later become King Seong Jong third royal concubine. In the drama, she would be locking horns and pitting herself against Yoon So-Hwa (Goo Hye Sun) and this would be a highlight of the drama.

I am only up till episode 11 and really can’t wait to see her comeback. So far, the drama has been really great with many impactful scenes involving Cheon Dong and So-Hwa. Oh Man Sook and Goo Hye Sun has really gotten better and their characters are growing on me. Their characters are so full of sorrow now and its still early days. It can only get better and better.
