Gospel Reflection

Thursday, January 15: Mark 1:40-45

The leper was very lucky because he got instant healing from Jesus. But this is not always the case there will be times when we are sick that He will not heal us. It may even seem that sometimes Jesus is deaf to our cry for healing. So what would we do then? Would we disengage from following Jesus?

Even if Jesus is deaf to our cry for healing we must continue to implore His help even up to our last breath; we must never give up seeking His healing. The healing that He gives us is always two pronged one is physical healing the other one is spiritual healing. He may not always give us the physical healing that we always want but His spiritual healing is always ours for the taking.

Jesus freely gives us His spiritual healing if only we will learn to invest more time with Him.
