I wonder if I should introduce to you the recently debuted group, FT Island, that is receiving much love from the fans. They held a fan signing event last weekend and I heard that the traffic was completely jammed. Lets meet the very popular FT Island.

Our meeting with the scary newbie FT Island, who has charming looks and can perfectly sing and play instruments, now begins.

Innocent boy Jaejin is celebrated for his gift with bass, and Wonbin possesses the look that wont make the actor Wonbin sorry. Hongki has an impressive resume as a child actor, and Jonghun is a hunk with handsome nose like Min Hyorin. And finally, Minhwan has been drumming since 6th grade.

About 5000 fans gathered at the book store to meet these precious five last weekend, and they were waiting while calling the boys' names one by one. It was originally planned to invite only 200 to the event but due to countless fans that came from all across the country, the city went through hell that day.

As if thanking the fan's long wait, FT Island finally appeared before them. But wait, are you sure that they are newbies who only debuted 3 weeks ago? Their popularity beats one for hollywood top stars. On top of that, their postures (dreamy - smiles) before the fans were fantastic. Perhaps that why the fans were going crazy over taking pictures of the band even before the event began. With love from their fans as their strength, FT Island didnt appear to be tired during this hour long event.

Whats more? There were not only teen fans but also noona fans in their 20s. The reason that FT Island is loved so much is because of their strong voice behind their boyish charms. Their title song "Love Sick" is already ranking top spots in various album charts. We'll definitely look forward to their active partcipation in the media along with their individualistic music.

Despite that they're new, the fan signing event was more hectic that one for regular celebrities. Because of FT Island that day, Gwanghwamoon region was on a standstill. About 5000 female fans lined up from the entrance to the road and the authorities feared that they're would be riots.

FT Island is a band consisting 5 flowers born in 1990 ~ 1992, and their band name is a shortened form of Five Treasure Island. Both of their looks and talents are beyond average. In order to prepare for their debut, all five members boarded together for about 3 years since they were in elementary school. The words around is that all the members accomplished their skills and looks at the same time while practicing guitar, drum and piano.

They also managed to have their first concert only 2 months after their debut.
They're also planned to appear on "Big 4" Concert, in which only the top artists perform every year, as representatives of Rock Ballade and show off the strength of scary teens. They're practicing hard every night in the studio to prepare for the concert next month. The scary newbie FT Island! They're yet to show us more as the best new artists of 2007.
