Taehyon Chong struck out three consecutive batters while pitching two innings. Tae Hoon Im retired only one of four batters faced on a sacrifice bunt, while Chang Yong Lim relieved and put out the rally before giving up the lead in the eighth.

Dodgers on the mound: Randy Wolf pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning and finished with 3 1/3 scoreless innings, four strikeouts and two walks. Hong-Chih Kuo, in his first "A" game of the spring, retired the first two batters he faced, then allowed a single and hit a batter before being removed. Troncoso allowed two runs on two hits in the fifth inning. Brian Mazone and Erick Threets worked out of inherited jams. Shawn Estes worked into and out of a jam while throwing two scoreless innings.

Up next: Manny Ramirez tries it again Friday. After scratching from Thursday's game because of a tight left hamstring, Ramirez hopes to make his spring exhibition debut against Texas. Chad Billingsley will start for the Dodgers and will be followed by young pitchers Scott Elbert and James McDonald, who are vying for Major League pitching jobs.
