Lee Hits Second Homer

Lee Seung-yeop of the Yomiuri Giants hit his second homer of the season in Tokyo on Sunday.

The 32-year-old first baseman, who batted sixth against the Hanshin Tigers, hit a go-ahead two-run home run, estimated at 120 meters, off right-hander Scott Atchison in the sixth inning to give the defending Central League champion a 5-4 lead.

Lee had his season-first long ball against the Hiroshima Toyo Carp on April 4.

Adding one to his tally, Lee is one short of his 450th career home run ― 324 with the Samsung Lions in Korea and 125 with the Giants in Japan.

The left-handed batter hit a run-scoring single in the first and added another in the eighth to finish 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

The Giants drew 6-6 after the 12th inning.
