Kim Kibum chosen to be famous main model

Korean idol group Super Junior’s member Kim KiBum has been chosen by famous designer Jo Sung Kyung** to be the main model for his show. Although Kim KiBum has participated in many fashion shows before, it’s going to be his first time being the main model. It is believed that there will be a great response.

Kim KiBum was chosen when the designer watched Super Junior’s first concert, Super Show in February. The designer praised KiBum saying “Not only does Kim KiBum have a good appearance, there is also a good-looking feel (aura) to him, especially his charming expressions from his eyes. I am looking forward for his performance to make the show even better.”

Kim KiBum expressed that “It’s my first time being a main model, although I’m a little nervous, I will still show my best performance to everyone”




Super Junior China is set to debut on April 1


SM Entertainment has announced the Debut of Super Junior China
against ELF's protests, dismissing any doubt of the subgroups being
just a rumored. The supgroup is set to officially begin their Chinese
activities on April 1 when their MV will be released, which will be the
Chinese version of "U", Super Junior's hit MV back in 2006.

Super Junior`s Han Kyung to Carry Olympic Torch



SM Entertainment Agency announced that there was an online survey done by Coca-Cola China, a public sponsor of the Beijing Olympics (http://www.icoke.cn),
and Han Kyung of Super Junior was voted first place as carrier of the
2008 Olympics torch. After deliberations, the Olympics organizational
committee sealed the deal.

"The [Olympics] committee chose Han Kyung because they recognized
his part in the cultural exchange of China through his activities in
Korea and the rest of Asia," the agency stated. "Han Kyung will be
participating in the carrying of the Olympic torch in Beijing from
August 6th to the 8th."

Han Kyung will be taking his solemn oath at the "Coca-Cola National Olympic Torch-Bearer Ceremony" as a representative of the Olympic flame
on the 24th in China. The ceremony will be broadcast on CCTV-5 and
Guangdong TV, the official Chinese channels for the 2008 Olympics.

Han Kyung stated, "I'm extremely pleased and honored to be a torch-bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics."
