►Super Junior's U #4 on the Oricon Charts

2days{?} after the release of super junior's U japanese version,
it has taken #4 on the Oricon music charts.

►suju Climbs Oricon Chart more info:

Hot idol group Super Junior's first Korean licensed single in Japan "U / Twins" has climbed to No. 4 spot on the Oricon single chart. Their emergence on Japan's premier music chart indicates that Super Junior's popularity in Korea, China, and Thailand has been no fluke.

It is very unprecedented for a song sung in Korean to enter the top 5 of the Oricon chart. The ranking shows the prestigious status of Super Junior in Asia, given that the group had not engaged in any activities in Japan prior to their first fan meeting event in Budokan last Tuesday and Wednesday. Super Junior’s single album contains the Korean language versions of hits "U" and "Twins", and the Japanese version of "U" as a bonus track.

In the meantime, Super Junior's fan meeting in Tokyo has been a resounding success. Some 12,000 fans filled the venue, as well as reporters from Fuji TV, Mainichi Shimbun, and other leading media. The group are going to visit Bangkok this Saturday to hold

"Super Junior the 1st Asia Tour Super Show" in Bangkok.

►Super Junior in Thailand

Kpop sensation group Super Junior commenced their second destination this July 12, 2008 in Bangkok Thailand for their 1st concert tour across Asia after staging two shows at Olympic Park in Seoul last February 23 and 24.

The 13-member group will hold ten Super Shows in nine Asian cities, including Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei.

Super Junior had been part of festival-style concerts featuring other artists, but it's their first time to have the whole stage to themselves. The singers will showcase their hit songs and individual talent gigs, and also share personal anecdotes with fans.

Details about the other destination cities and the touring schedule are yet to be announced, according to Super Junior's management agency SM Entertainment.

►Super Show in Thailand was a huge success!!!

Super Junior's dynamite performance on their 1st Asia Tour "Super Show" in Thailand satisfied their Thai fans who have longed to see them together on stage.

The local media is taking particular interest in Henry of Super Junior M, who visited Thailand for the first time, gave a positive outgrowth of his second participation of Super Show as compared to his overwrought experience happened in Seoul. Thailand reportedly boasts a high number of Henry fans.

SM Entertainment, as the organizer of the group's overseas concert tour along with Dream Maker Entercom helping out to promote the tour, promised to make an even more prepared Super Show in China as an opportunity to Henry and Zhou Mi perform in a large scale concert with a massive number of fans in Shanghai on November 22.

►Super Show Rocked the Arena in Thailand

Over 12 thousand ELFs gathered together at the Impact Arena in Amphoe Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Bangkok Thailand for the second stop of Super Junior's 1st Asia Tour "Super Show" held yesterday, July 12.

Each Super Show is the hope of ELFs to see all the 13 members of Super Junior perform together as all of them are all engaged with different sorts of activities with their corresponding sub-units.

Super Show in Thailand turns out almost exactly the same as it was in Seoul where the stage designs and the audience's seating arrangements were thoroughly prepared.

The boys performed the songs from their albums "Super Junior 05" and "Don't Don" including Twins, Rock This House, Don't Don with Henry of Super Junior M, A Man In Love, You're My Endless Love, Dancing Out, 'My Everything' performed by Dong Hae which originally sung by '98 Degrees', 'Rokkugo' by the group's second sub-unit 'Super Junior T', 'One Love'... Counting in 'Super Junior KRY', 'Marry U', 'Wonder Boy', the OST of their movie 'Attack on the Pin-up Boys', and 'First Snow'.

Super Junior didn't end the show without performing their hit songs 'U', 'Happiness' and 'Miracle'.

Super Junior's next destination is in China for 2 nights show.

►14.07.08 Killer Schedule of SuJu Activities: No Time to Rest

Activities of Super Junior members as a whole group and its sub units come into scrutiny ~ (actually direct trans was "to light" anyway...)

During July 12 performance of Super Show in Thailand, Super Junior member Yesung injured his waistdisc. Also, during his performance in Thailand, Eeteuk slipped and his right foot suffered a bruise. Kangin and Sungmin are also suffering from chronic fatigue.

Their fatigue and injuries are caused by their killer schedule. Super Junior's tight schedule starting from the 8th, from Japan, to South Korea, to Thailand is hard to follow (digest ang direct trans..) They had a fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan on the 8th and on the 9th had the '터치회' event which consisted of them exchanging business cards and shaking the hands of fans.

They returned to South Korea for television appearances and flew to Thailand on the 12th for their First Asia Concert Tour. On the morning of the 13th, they immediately (flew back) to do the recording for SBS Inkigayo.

(I) do not understand why they are having this tight schedule to the point of risking physical injury, which in turn, would mean less exposure for them this year. Local schedules might still go on, but the fans will surely voice out their concerns.

Leeteuk said, "Asian activities will have to be moved if members become injured. Though I am physically uncomfortable, the fans cheering for me make me feel better (trans=good0hearted)"

Super Junior will be participating at 'SM Town Live 08' on the 15th of next month at Jamsil Stadium as part of the Asian tour around Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok.

►Super Junior Has Fans

With that many boys in a group, you are bound to get fans.

Super Junior performed in front of 12 thousand screaming (mostly) female fans at the “Super Junior 1st Premium Event in Japan” on July 8th in Tokyo. And another 13 thousand fans showed up for the “1st Asia Tour Super Show” in Bangkok on July 12th, 2008. That’s 25 thousand crazy fans!!

Super Junior will continue to collect fans on their Asia Tour in Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur.

Super Junior, nominated for “Favorite Artist Korea” and “Artist of Asia” will be attending the MTV Asia Awards 2008 on August 2nd.

►SM Town Live '08 Relay Fan Meeting

Before the time of SM Town Live 08’s main event, a relay fan meeting will be held.

At 2:30 in the afternoon on the day of the event, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, The Grace, and TVXQ will gather together on a relay fan meeting for 30 minutes at the Orange and Yellow Field with specially installed stage of Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul.

On the fan meeting, each artists’ corresponding team will choose a representative to MC and present a different kind of fun under the direction of the given plan. Aside from live performances of SM Town Live ‘08, is that audience can participate by requesting a song of their choice which will be included on the artists’ performances.

Requesting of songs will be collected for a week starting July 15 thru their official home page and artists will pick a song request according to their comfort.

SM Town Live ‘08 will commence on August 15 at 5PM at Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul.

►Suju- m & other Korean singer aim for the Olympics

Only a month to go until the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Korean singers are getting ready to enter the vast Chinese market in an attempt to make their marks in Asia.

The first one out of the starting block is Super Junion-M, a new branch unit of Super Junior working out of China. Super Junior M released a debut album in China last April, which contains “The One,” a song that wishes for the success of the 2008 Olympics. They have sung “The One” whenever there was a special event or performance related to the Olympic Games.
