►Super Junior's Hee Chul & Kang In Are Perfect Together
SM Entertainment is dipping into musicals as a way to take over the music industry. For their first project, SM has made the wise decision of casting their best singing prospects in the flamboyant 80’s musical, Xanadu ? Super Junior’s Hee-chul and Kangin. And if you know anything about POPSEOUL!, you will know that was laced with sarcasm.
With the fairy-dusted Hee-chul and the donut-chopping Kangin (ok, we don’t know if he likes donuts) in technocolor outfits and roller skates, this musical is expected to sink faster than the Titanic.
The musical production of Xanadu will run from September 9th to November 23rd, 2008 on the north side of the Han River at Doosan Art Center in Jongro. Tickets start at 40,000 won. For more information, contact 82?2-745-5570 (Korean).
►When Super Junior’s Yesung Got Scared
Super Junior's jotbap member, Yesung confessed that he was a coward in front of his crush, Moon Geun Young during Choi Hwa Jung's "Power Time" radio show. Despite the fact that he had always been infatuated with Korea's little sister, Yesung his chance to impress her when he met her at the premiere of the movie "M's" a couple months ago.
According to Yesung, he couldn't approach her when he spotted her because there were too many people around. When he saw her for the second time in the parking lot, he was interrupted by his fan who yelled "Moon Geun Young, look at Yesung…"
►Shindong and Im I Rang An Item or Just Childhood Friends?
Korean idol group, Super Junior member Shindong is reportedly dating someone. That someone is speculated to be a korean internet ulzzang (best face) called Im I Rang after pictures of them at a movie theatre catching a movie was posted online.
According to sources, this photo was taken towards the end of 2007. At that time, Shindong and Im I Rang was at a Lotte Cinema theatre in Seoul for a movie. The netizen who uploaded the photo described the situation then, “They behaved like what couples would do and fed each other popcorn.” This netizen even posted the ticket stub which Shindong autographed as evidence.
This photo of Shindong and Im I Rang actually spread at the beginning of the year which invoked many discussions among Super Junior fans.
This became a hotly search term among various Korean search engines when this was made known. With regards to this, SM Entertainment denied the allegations, “They are just good friends since they were kids.”
►Sm and SBS Presents: DBSK + Suju Untold Story
Earlier News spread of a new SBS special featuring famous idol bands Super Junior and DBSK. The show was said to reveal the real story behind their boys' lives from early struggles to fame. Just the advertisement of the news on fansites alone caused huge stir in the K-Pop world.
However, now a new claim emerges from netizens as well as fans of both DBSK and Super Junior.
Some claimed the show is nothing more than a hoax created by a random netizen who wanted to toy with fans' emotions.
one fan wrote:
The TV show on SBS about SM artists… it’s a hoax. IF there were to be a show such as the one they were talking about, there would have been press releases in the media AND it would be on cable, not network TV (most older people who watch network TV couldn’t care less about the lifestory of any idol stars).
Besides, no show EVER guarantees that a show will air for 20+ weeks, not even on cable and definitely not on network TV.
Along with accusing the show to be fake, some netizens also claimed the story revealed about DBSK Yuhno Uknow was also fake. They believed that even if the show really does aired the stores in the show will be fake.
While the two sides debate over whether or not the show is real or fake. SBS and SM still have not yet spoken up directly.

►SUPER JUNIOR, Fatigued and Injured
Carrying both big and small injuries, the Super Junior members are active with very busy schedules.
On the 12th, Super Junior held their concert in Thailand, titled "Super Show - The 1st Asia Tour in Bangkok". Because of the concert, Yesung's old waist injury reoccured, causing Yesung to suffer difficulties during schedules. Leeteuk was also injured at the concert. While performing Leeteuk slipped, spraining his right foot. Kangin, Sungmin, and other members are still currently suffering from severe fatigue. Their injuries are due to their cruel schedules in both Korea and overseas, causing many of the members to suffer severe fatique and minor injuries.
Starting from the 8th, Super Junior bounced in a tight schedule from Korea to Japan, back to Korea, and then to Thailand. On the 8th, the group held their first fanmeeting in Japan in the Nippon Budokan, and on the 9th the members exchanged business cards with fans and had a handshake meet. After the Japan fanmeeting they returned to Korea to participate in variety show recordings, and on the 11th they immediately flew to Thailand, completing the 2nd stop for their Asia concert tour on the 12th.
In the early morning of the 13th Super Junior-Happy members, with Heechul and Kibum, flew back to Korea, not even having a moment to rest. The subgroup immediately performed on SBS's Inkigayo that same day to promote their single. Super Junior-M members, however, remained in Thailand for their fanmeeting, and it was delayed an hour because Hangeng passed out in his hotel room.
Due to the group's hectic schedules, the members' are physically exhausted, causing them to be more easily exposed to injuries. Luckily, none of their injuries are extremely serious. Fans are already very concerned over the group's tight schedules in Korea and overseas.
Group leader Leeteuk stated, "Our schedules are now all around Asia. Many of our members are now getting injured. Our bodies may not be well, but after receiving so many support from fans, we feel delighted and happy while working on our schedules."
Next month on the 15th Super Junior will participate in "SMTOWN LIVE '08" that will be held in the Seoul Jamsil Stadium. The same concert will soon stop by Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok. Super Junior's Asia concert tour schedule will also continue.
