Last (Aug. 23), the [b]2008 Mnet 20’s Choice Awards took place at JangChung Gymnasium.
Sadly, Super Junior did not win the award they were nominated in (which was Trend Musician).
The award went to Korea’s Big Bang.
But although they didnt win, we’re still happy they got nominated and ELF did everything they could to give this award to the boys~ there will be other awards and many more times where ELF and Super Junior will join hand in hand to receive an award…

►SJ members pay their last respects to CoffeePrince's Park Sang Min {Lee Eon}

Popular actor and fashion model Eon (27, real name Park Sang-min) died early Thursday morning from a motorcycle accident.

According to police reports, Eon attended a party to celebrate the final episode of KBS 2TV's drama series "Chilwu, the Mighty" after midnight on August 21 and got into an accident while on his way home.

At the time of the accident, the late actor's management agency said the details of the accident have yet to be confirmed and that his parents were on their way to Seoul from Busan.

A funeral hall has been set up at the Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital in Hannam-dong, Seoul.

Eon co-starred in the recently concluded drama series "Chilwu, the Mighty" as one of the assassins led by Chilwu, played by Eric.

The late actor and model rose to stardom through his role in the phenomenally popular MBC drama series "Coffee Prince."

►Donghae and Yunho being abused.

Perhaps we are not in the position to react and this might give a wrong impression to others but as a respect to Super Junior and TVXQ, I would like to speak in behalf of Super Junior and TVXQ fans.

There have been offensive words from the anti Super Junior and TVXQ that Cassiopeia and ELF tried to ignore. An outrageous video on Youtube abusing Lee Dong Hae and Jung Yun Ho's names verbally made us end our patience.

A Youtube user named "hate0donghae040ever" posted a video of TVXQ with fake subtitles claiming to be Yun Ho and telling that Dong Hae raped their friend.

I checked out the video myself and saw how defame that video is for attacking the reputation of Dong Hae and Yun Ho. He must be really insane for the time he wasted to make a video out of hate.

I would like to ask each and everyone of you reading this right now who support Super Junior and TVXQ to HELP stop that Youtube user by selecting "Flag As Inappropriate" below the video "Yunho's Youtube Account" uploaded by the anti Super Junior and TVXQ http://www.youtube.com/hate0donghae040ever .

By doing so, that user will be suspended and the video will totally be deleted. You can only "Flag" by logging in. I really appreciate all the love and respect you have for Super Junior and TVXQ.

►Kangin & Taeyeon hot dj



The Mnet 20’s Choice Award held on the 23rd was not a disappointment after all. SJ didnt win, but at least one of the members won an award.Kangin (along with Taeyeon of SNSD) were awarded the “Hot DJ” Award for ChinChin Radio Show.
It was awarded to them through MBC FM4U “best friends” radio the other nominees also included ShimShimTapa, which is hosted by Shindong (and Kimshinyoung).

►Yesung's parents came to SBS Inkigayo on the 24

Yesung’s parents who lives on the countryside went to SBS Inkigayo on the 24th (his birthday) to support………………………

His parents brought home-made wine and cake as gifts to Hyesung, who felt really moved. his parents probably visited him too, but i dont know for sure…ehehe~ its funny how they came to see hyesung on his yesung’s birthday though.
but it was nice of them to come support hyesung’s comeback. ^^

►27.08.08 ShinDong following the footsteps of GDragon?



A shirt that Super Junior ShinDong wore on Mnet channel recently has
got netizens talking. There was a picture of a woman clad in just her
underwear printed on it.
Netizens pointed out the concept of the shirt is similar to that of what Big Bang member GDragon had worn before.
And this came out shortly after GDragon appeared on Mnet 20’s choice wearing a shirt with controversial words printed on it…
Well, it is not surprising really to see GDragon donning it because this isn’t his first time actually.

►SuperJunior, Jewelry, Wonder Girls, Brown Eyed Girls, SNSD, Shinhwa Come Together for Lee Bul’s MV

It was announced today that one member each from popular groups like SuperJunior, Jewelry, Wonder Girls, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls and Shinhwa will come together for new singer, Lee Bul in a series of promotional clips plus the actual music video which caught the attention of many which is expected.

Mnet Media revealed today that Park Jung Ah (Jewelry), Sun Ye (Wonder Girls), Tae Yeon (SNSD), Ga-in (Brown Eyed Girls), Kim Dong Wan (Shinhwa) and Shin Dong (SuperJunior) had done a good job for the crying scenes.

Mnet Media expressed, “The MV concept for this was set as Park Jung Ah (Missing), Kim Dong Wan (Hurt), Ga-in (Remembrance), Tae Yeon (Sadness), Sun Ye (Promise), etc with different feelings for each scene setting. They all did a marvellous job for the crying scenes and the four girls were so emotional that they couldn’t stop crying even after the cameras had stopped rolling.”

The teaser will be released on 1st September online, television and movie theatres while the official music video will be released on 10th September.

►Kim Heechul, “Was Once Mistaken to Be a Cyborg At Airport

Super Junior member Kim Heechul revealed that he was once mistaken to be a cyborg which was confirmed by his group mate Kangin on an episode of “Ya Shim Man Man - Entertainers Village” which will be shown on 1st September.

Heechul revealed, “In a random check at the aiport when I was going overseas, I was stopped and questioned on whether I was a cyborg or not?”

Heechul had suffered serious injuries to his left leg in a car accident on 10th August 10, 2006 which resulted in the doctors having to insert iron rods into his leg. So that explains that although the metal detectors kept on beeping, Heechul didn’t carry any metal objects. The foreign airport staff was bewildered at the constant beeping not knowing that he had iron rods inside his left leg.

Heechul also revealed that the length of the iron rods in his leg was about 30cm which was about the thickness of one’s finger. Despite having iron rods inside his leg, he still carried on his training (dancing, etc) which led to the iron rods inside his leg to bend and making him very nervous.

According to Kangin, the self-proclaimed pimp, he’s been asked out by a hundred people, ranging from heiresses to men during his career.
Although the MCs and other celebrities on “Yashimmanman” were in disbelief, they continued to hear out his stories simply to avoid cyber wars with the Elves.

Super Junior member Hee Chul revealed that when he holds a girl, he gets "extremely nervous and feels like his heart is going to burst."

The Super Junior member revealed his fear of women while a love scene with Jung Sun Ah, from his musical debut in Xanadu was shown.

Xanadu the musical, starring Super Junior members Kangin and Hee Chul will open later this month.

►Kim Heechul, “I Cough Out Blood After Each Don’t Don Performance”

“Ya Shim Man Man - Entertainers Village” had Super Junior member, Kim Heechul on the show which was shown last night on a certain tv station where he revealed a sad story that he had coughed out blood while performing.

During the show last night, he revealed that it’s really tough and tiring being a singer. They often have to withstand inhuman stress levels. He also revealed a sad story that he had coughed out blood before while performing on stage.

Kim Heechul recalled when Super Junior was promoting “Don’t Don”, “When we were recording the song ‘Don’t Don’, I was given the latter portion where I had to shout out ‘Super Junior’. I was praised for doing it well by the song composer after finishing my part for the first time. I was full of vigour after that and every time when it was time for us to perform this song, I would scream really hard for my part. But after a few performances, blood started appearing. I would cough out blood after every ‘Don’t Don’ performance.”
